this here was a side project i started out a month ago and finally completed. it was a contest sprung from unicef in collaboration with unite against aids to produce a 30-60sec video. there were some stressful times about direction, composition, song, and everything in between. the overall objective was to find the mood and story line to somehow connect the audience to the video. i played

my 2nd project assignment for 3d and one that had no reference but the name itself a music television channel in new zealand. i liked the name juice and stuck musik next to it because it sounded really well together. i was playing around with the cloner object and set it to linear also animating the strength value. the spline effector was also added to link the spheres to the text spline. the

so after getting feed back and talking it out with brett. he suggested a few minor changes. things like working on the sub-menu navigation, rollover and selected actions within the buttons. also instead of staying with the linear or time line based view of the photos i decided to go with the cool carousel format.

so i'm posting some work progress on our infographic. the composition will be of a 2d environment and 3d objects interacting within the same space. we have all the assets, we are now working on meshing them together making peanut butter and jelly sandwich mmmmmmmmm (taste good). this photo below is a screen shot of our work so far with a lot more going into the scene.

this was an experimental on shaders, textures, lighting using a spotlight. characteristics such as volumetric, area, lens, diffuse was applied within the lighting. the shaders were downloaded and put into our presets by our 3d teacher thanks a lot to him. i wasn't goin for a dark look, but that's what you get when you work with spotlights. aloha!

a motion piece from term2 titled "music". there was really no direction with this one. there was a lot of going back and forth on this project. things really didn't come together until the last couple of days. one interesting part about this project was that the audio was made entirely by me which was awesome because we got to work with reason. it's a music program that's got pre-set notes

this t shirt design is a term2 project which had to be done entirely in illustrator. the only tool that was excluded was the live trace tool. as you can see i decided to cheat a bit, there was no way i was gonna go with the pen tool and meticulously shape the lion. i actually added the lions after i created the wing. the wing on the shirt symbolizes freedom from the world and surroundings
